Urethane Elastomer Product Line
Polaris Polymers develops and manufacturers room temperature and hot
cast processing and curing polyurethane elastomers for demanding
applications.
Polyurethane elastomers are unique design and construction materials
combining many of the advantages of plastics, metals, and ceramics
with the extensibility of rubber. Depending upon the type and
performance requirement, they are cast and cured at room temperature
or processed and cured at elevated temperatures. High performance
systems begin as prepolymers in order to maximize physical
properties, reduce toxicity, control reaction rates and improve
processing characteristics. They are combined with curatives and are
molded into shapes that are used in industrial and mechanical parts,
graphic arts, mining, oil and gas, recreation and sport, and
solid industrial tires and wheel industries.

PF3001
This Shore 75 - 80A, low viscosity, fast curing - 75 second gel
time, two-component, tough, resilient and flexible room
temperature curing urethane is suitable for air filter end cap
bonding and urethane gaskets. Mix ratio approximately 3:1 by
volume.
PF3053
This Shore 50 - 55A low viscosity, two-component tough and
flexible room temperature curing urethane is suitable for hinges
for runway mats, abrasion resistant liners, pads, bumpers,
rollers, gaskets, and many other products.
PF5078
This Shore 74 - 79A is a two-component, low viscosity, tough and
abrasion resistant elastomer and is suitable for general-purpose
molding, producing parts and molds, and making castings of
various shapes. This system may be used to provide tough and abrasion
resistant vibratory bowl liners, pads, bumpers, rollers,
gaskets, and many other products.
PF5085
This Shore 83 - 89 A, is a two-component, low viscosity, tough
and abrasion resistant elastomer and is suitable for
general-purpose molding, producing parts and molds, and making
castings of various shapes. This system may be used to provide
tough and abrasion resistant vibratory bowl liners, pads, bumpers,
rollers, gaskets, and many other products.

TDI / PTMEG Systems
PF5070
This Shore 73D, PTMEG based urethane prepolymer combines good
resilience with excellent physical properties, excellent dynamic
and static properties, and excellent heat resistance. Elastomers
cast from PF5070 are recommended for wheels, rolls, bearings,
metal forming tools, pads, forklift tires, rollers, casters,
seals, gaskets, metal forming pads, impellers, metal forming
tools and various industrial parts.
PF5087 - 100% SOLIDS SPRAYABLE SYSTEM
This Shore 85 - 90A, two components, 100% solids, PTMEG
polyether based urethane sprayable abrasion resistant elastomer,
produces tough and abrasion resistant coatings that are well
suited for many applications.
PF5097
This Shore 97A, PTMEG based prepolymer achieves excellent
dynamic and static properties, excellent heat resistance and
excellent physical properties and good hard segment
crystallinity. Elastomers cast from PF5097 are recommended for
rollers, casters, load wheels, gaskets, linings and various
industrial parts.
TDI / PTMEG - Medium Performance
PF5095
This Shore 95A, medium performance PTMEG elastomer achieves good
dynamic properties, excellent physical properties and good hard
segment crystallinity. Elastomers cast from PF5095 are
recommended for forklift tires, rollers, casters, load wheels,
gaskets, linings and various industrial parts.

PF5080
This Shore 80A, low cost PPG elastomer achieves good static and
dynamic properties. Elastomers cast from PF5080 are recommended
for rollers, casters, gaskets, linings and various industrial

This Shore 93A, low cost PPG elastomer achieves goods static and
dynamic properties. Elastomers cast from PF5093 are recommended

This Shore 95A, low cost PPG elastomer achieves good static and
dynamic properties. Elastomers cast from PF5195 are recommended
for forklift tires, rollers, casters, gaskets, linings and

TDI / POLYCAPROLACTONE
PF6070
This Shore 70A polycaprolactone elastomer achieves excellent
mechanical properties, similar to that of polyester prepolymers
with the added advantage of superior hydrolysis resistance,
outstanding abrasion resistance, high load bearing capability,
low heat build-up, and excellent low temperature flexibility.
Elastomers cast from PF6070 are recommended for forklift and
casters wheels, screens, cyclones, and various industrial parts.
PF6083
This Shore 83A polycaprolactone elastomer achieves excellent
mechanical properties, similar to that of polyester prepolymers
with the added advantage of superior hydrolysis resistance,
outstanding abrasion resistance, high load bearing capability,
low heat build-up, and excellent low temperature flexibility.
Elastomers cast from PF6083 are recommended for forklift and
casters wheels, screens, cyclones, and various end use
applications.
PF6093

TDI / ESTER
PF6090
This 90A, polyester based elastomer achieves excellent
mechanical and physical properties combined with superior
resistance to oils, hydrocarbons and solvents. A wide variety of
durometers from 20 - 80 Shore A can be obtained by using other
curatives. Elastomers cast from PF6090 are recommended for
printing rollers, casters, industrial tires, gaskets, seals,
linings and various industrial parts.
PF6150
This Shore 50D polyester based urethane elastomer combines good
resilience with excellent physical properties and solvent
stability. Elastomers cast from PF6150 are recommended for pads,
forklift tires, rollers, casters, seals, gaskets, metal forming
pads, impellers, printing rolls, and various industrial parts.
MDI / ESTER
PF4085
This Shore 85A polyester based urethane elastomer combines good
resilience and dynamic with excellent toughness and abrasion
resistance and solvent stability. Elastomers cast from PF4085
are recommended for forklift tires, rollers, casters, and
